Bees

  1. Ka Pai Bob, I really liked reading through your Venn diagrams and looking in the middle at all the information that is the same about bees and wasps/bumble bees. They all come from very large families. You have added lots of labels on your parts of a bee which is adding to my learning. I never knew that bees had pollen combs. I wonder what they do?? I really enjoyed reading through your slides and you have really got the hang of the PMI chart! Thanks for all your hard work Bob!

  3. pollen combs are hairs on the bees legs they rub them together to remove the pollen that might get stuck.

  4. Beautiful work Bob! I love the pictures and the way you have set everything out. It really looks great. Thanks for all the information. The thing that struck me was how there aren't many bees left! Its important for us to know a lot about bees so that we can help keep them alive and thriving. What was the most interesting thing for you about bees?
